Hours of operation
Sunnybrook Montessori School operates Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. The school is closed on Fridays.
We follow the SAU 36 (White Mountains Regional School District) school calendar, including weather-related closings, with some exceptions.

Rooted in Play and Guided by Curiosity
The early years are filled with natural wonder, creativity, and discovery as children build meaningful connections with the world around them. At Sunnybrook, children engage in developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences that nurture independence, confidence, critical thinking, and creativity through purposeful play and exploration.
A Multi-Age Learning Community
Sunnybrook’s mixed-age classroom includes children ages 3–5, creating a collaborative and nurturing environment where children learn alongside one another at different stages of development. Younger children benefit from observing and learning from older peers, while older children build leadership, empathy, and confidence as they model skills and support younger classmates.
Learning Through Play & Exploration
Children at Sunnybrook learn through meaningful play, hands-on materials, creative expression, movement, sensory experiences, and outdoor exploration. Daily activities are designed to foster problem-solving, communication, self-help skills, cooperation, and emotional development while laying a strong foundation for future academic success.
We believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore their environment. Our classrooms encourage children to ask questions, take healthy risks, build relationships, and develop confidence in their own abilities.
